True Window and Glass Centre now fit as standard Edgetech Super Spacer® into our double glazed window units. Traditionally windows used a highly conductive metal spacer bar to hold the two panes of glass apart, causing heat loss around the edge of the frame. Super Spacer® is a non-metallic, non-conductive, pre-desiccated, structural foam spacer system which provides excellent perimeter insulation for sealed glazing units. TWG firmly believe by fitting Super Spacer® our customers will benefit from lower home heating costs with less wasted heat coupled with a small reduced noise transfer by up to 2 decibels.
Easy Clean Hinges –
It is also worth noting that many of our designs are able to use an easy clean hinge system giving you quick and easy access to the outer pane for cleaning, a far simpler, cheaper and more reliable system than tilt and turn windows.

Vertical Sliding Sash/Victorian Sliders – Combining the classic good looks of traditional sash windows with the modern benefits of PVCu double glazing. Featuring fully sculptured profiles that perform extremely well and with a choice of Colour finish, woodgrain foils, sash horn, travel restrictors and Georgian or Astragal bar options.
Bay and Bow Window Conversions – complete with frame adapters, welded shaped cill and bay-poles. If converting from a flat window, the bay roof and internal window board will need to be constructed from suitable materials or alternatively, we can supply a purpose made canopy and/or base.
White, cream, green, grey – the list is almost endless with an ever increasing number of Ral colours. With the inclusion of wood-grain type effects plus the ability to have a different colour on the external and internal sides why settle for just white?
Twg can supply shaped PVCu double glazed windows i.e. Circles, angled, triangular, arched with and without openers. These frames can be used where architectural features are required. We would normally require a template or plans and measurements to be supplied before manufacturing can be started on shaped units.
TWG offer a solution to period homes where due to restrictions or conservation reasons you may be prevented from installing conventional double glazed windows. Secondary Glazing provides an effective barrier to the elements, whilst complimenting your existing windows and doors.
Lift Outs –
Economic and effective, ideal where only limited access is required to the primary window such as windows that are solely for decorative purposes.
Hinged Units –
A simple yet effective system with no transoms to spoil the sightlines but giving thermal insulation and noise reduction to benefit both living and working environments.
Horizontal Sliders –
Available in 2, 3 or 4 panelled versions and fitted with rollers to enable a smooth sliding action, brush seals provide effective draught proofing and greater thermal insulation. This type of Secondary Glazing is ideal where frequent access is required to the primary window.
Vertical Sliders –
for older/listed properties where the design needs to be sympathetic to the character of the property.
