True Window & Glass Centre (TWG) was engaged by Johnson & Smith (Lincoln) to provide specialist support during the tender stage for the refurbishment of windows and doors at Townsville Academy, forming part of a wider maintenance programme including cladding and roofing works.
As part of our pre-construction services, our Technical Director, Graham Anderson, undertook a detailed site survey to assess existing installations and establish project requirements. From this, TWG developed a selection of aluminium system solutions, tailored to meet the client’s performance. The client selected a Sheerline aluminium system due it’s low u-values and slim sightlines.
Working closely with the main contractor, we ensured all proposed options were fully aligned with the project specification and programme. We successfully delivered this project within two weeks for three installation teams.
